The last moments of a nocturnal encounter between two women, one is fifty years old, the other is in her early twenties. Both seek love, intimacy, a relationship. There is, however, an added aspect – elusive, primeval, and perverse. The identification of the exact nature of the encounter becomes unsettling, as courtship rituals and parenting rituals begin to intertwine. Every so often it seems that on this night, not only do the two women meet; each meets an individual created to suit the other’s needs. The unspoken understanding is undermined as the explicit words are uttered, and with it collapses the fragile existence of the relationship. What initially seems to be a promise of harmony, brings about the relationship’s demise.
