Hobbypop MUSEUM
With six members from Düsseldorf and London, the hobbypopMUSEUM collective has been active since 1998, coming together when its members studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. The collective is internationally known for its intricate installation exhibitions, which span a wide range of artistic media, including painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, sound, text, etc. Each installation is based on a specific concept and is created on site via joint work and without prior planning. According to the group members, the different installations gradually cumulate into a long journey with a continuous narrative, and each installation in it forms a separate station or chapter.
