Ilan Peled | Embodiment and Starting Over

Ilan Peled | Embodiment and Starting Over | Sukkot at the Herzliya Museum for Contemporary Art

19-22 October 2024

An installation emerging on the floor of the large hall at this time, exactly one year later, between the day and the night, exactly one year later, between the end and the beginning. A magnificent kaleidoscopic fabric that binds fragments and wholeness that takes shape during action, embodiment and starting over.

And what remains—perhaps miracles
Perhaps a dove will rise and come
Perhaps a word from heights or oracles
Will catch me softly, leave me numb

And in the vineyards, grapes will glow
Embroidering life in threads of sun
What will we gather, row by row
Before the sea that flows as one.
