We are pleased and exited to present the first public playing of In Alpha Mood, an electro-acoustic music piece recorded by multidisciplinary artist Ami Shavit thirty two years ago. The piece investigates the insights and practice of Biofeedback, a method developed in the 60’s and 70’s to help patients modify bodily functions associated with the nervous system through control of their brain’s alpha waves, in order to alleviate stress and achieve physical and mental balance. We invite viewers to tune in to the relaxing transmission of sound, and recommend further training of brain waves later, at home.
