As the sounds and voices emanating from the TV program (a Tarzan movie) become increasingly louder, the artist continues to ignore them, until finally the screams of a young child and other unsettling noises begin to show their effect on her. She gradually loses control, rubbing food all over herself and her clothes. As the video ends, she even throws food at the camera, blocking our view.

This deliberate and unsuccessful attempt to ignore the presence of television brings the artist to a nervous breakdown. By means of this narrative, Andrade calls attention to television’s tremendous power and control over its viewers.
