Eyal Sasson confronts the viewer with mysterious, wild woodland landscapes, inviting him into their realms. The landscapes appear like the heart of a tangled jungle. Just as the forest is dense and crowded, so the diligent, assiduous painting technique used by Sasson consists of countless layers of drawing in watercolor pencils laid one atop the other or side by side, generating compact color in diverse tones and shadings.
