Hadas Satt
Born in 1981. Lives and works in Tel Aviv Lady Be Good, 2013, six photographs This work is composed of six photographs that form a piece of sky crisscrossed by jet contrails. Lady Be Good is named after a World-War II American bomber that was lost over the Sahara desert on its way back from an attack on Naples. When the plane was finally discovered 16 years later, some of its parts were in good working order, and food remains and cigarettes of the crew were found.

Gili Lavy
Born in 1987. Lives and works in Tel Aviv Autumn Clouds, 2012, video, 13:00 min. At first glance, Autumn Clouds seems to document the story of a group of postwar Russian orphans. The viewer is exposed to the orphans’ lives: initiation and purification rites, confessions and singing in the woods. As the film progresses it becomes clear that this is not a narrative plot with a beginning, middle and end, but rather a collection of selected moments from the orphans’ lives.

Amir Yatziv
Born in 1972. Lives and works in Berlin Superstition in the Pigeon, 2013, video, 16 min. A natural mechanism that has yet to be fully explained guides pigeons back home, to a single home – their birthplace. In Superstition in the Pigeon, the bird starts its poetic flight at the edge of Jerusalem and proceeds on her way home carrying a tiny camera on its back. This work ties together the time-honored tradition of raising postal pigeons with state-of-the-art photographic technology.
